I hope this message finds you well. I am currently utilizing a program called QTTabBar to enhance my File Explorer experience. QTTabBar enables me to employ tabbed browsing within the File Explorer, similar to a web browser. However, I have encountered some issues with this program, including infrequent updates and significant bugs.
As an enthusiast of PowerToys, I must commend the outstanding features it provides. It has significantly simplified my software needs by offering a wide range of functionalities within a single package.
I would like to kindly request the addition of a tab feature to the File Explorer through PowerToys. This enhancement would greatly benefit all users, allowing them to navigate folders in a manner similar to web browsing.
Thank you for your attention to this suggestion, and I look forward to any developments in this regard.
Best regards,

Scenario when this would be used?
I have already benefited greatly from one of PowerToys' significant File Explorer features. Previously, I relied on a separate program for generating thumbnails for SVG files. However, with PowerToys, I no longer need to use an additional application.
Additionally, I've noticed that QTTabBar offers some compelling preview content features. I encourage you to consider giving QTTabBar a trial run. I believe that by exploring its capabilities, you'll gain a deeper understanding of why it can be exceptionally valuable for PowerToy users.
What is QTTabBar?
QTTabBar is an extension for Windows Explorer that brings tabbed browsing to Microsoft's file browser. It comes with a number of nifty features including a favorites function for launching folders and applications, groupings of folders that can be opened together, tooltip preview functions for a number of file types, and others. It is also highly customizable and hotkey-enabled.
QTTabBar was written by a Japanese developer known as “Quizo” (hence the name QTTabBar) but because of lack of time, he gave the project over to Paul Accisano.
Actually "Quizo" resumed development.
