It would be very useful to have multiple tabs open in Windows Explorer, similar to using a web browser.

I'm sure there are times when we all have multiple explorer windows open at the same time, moving files, working on multiple documents, etc... Having one window open with multiple tabs would be super useful in this instance as working out which window is the one you are looking for isn't always easy.

The tabs could run along the top bar (similar to Edge). Tabs could display a truncated path for the name, showing drive letter and current folder, i.e. C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server would be display C:\.\Micosoft SQL Server.
The number of dots in the path could represent the depth of the directory, with options to show one dot per folder depth indefinitely, or up to 3 dots for anything with ≥ parent folders.
