Product-Window Manager Refers to the idea of a Window Manager PowerToy Resolution-Duplicate There's another issue on the tracker that's pretty much the same thing.

ℹ Computer information

  • PowerToys version: 0.33.1
  • PowerToy Utility: ?
  • Running PowerToys as Admin: No
  • Windows build number: 1909 (OS Build 18363.1379)

I use a two screen setup configured as an extended desktop:

Left screen is in portrait mode (1920x1080 with 100% scaling)
Right screen is in landscape mode (and this is my main working screen) (3840x2160 with 150 % scaling)

📝 Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)

  1. … Create three horizontal zones on left monitor
  2. … Place an application in each of the zones
  3. … Lock windows
  4. ... Login to windows

✔️ Expected result

The expected result is that my applications should remain in the zones on my left monitor after I've logged in.

❌ Actual result

My fancy zones are empty. The applications are now placed on my right monitor. All windows on my right screen has also been messed up.

@MashMathias
this is a Windows issue, not a FancyZones bug. The tracker for this is #4
