Some channels have opted to ban the Matrix IRC bridge to cut back on the large amount of disconnects from the Matrix users until the kinks have been worked out.

#ubuntu: Matrix users with the default *[m] nick still used are banned.
##techsupport: All users from the matrix.org bridge are banned (*!*@gateway/shell/matrix.org/*)
#lobsters: The lobste.rs owner and channel admin @jcs will ban users for chatting with the bridge, appears to 'tolerate' lurkers.
