Deep-Seek

deep-seek-v3 is hot now , and it provide open-ai compatible api service, most importantly, its fast, accurate, CHEAP!. It has two models: deepseek-chat, deepseek-coder.
Its a good optional ai provider in China(where blocked by openai)

Use deepseek-coder

First, sign-up a deepseek account https://platform.deepseek.com ;
Next, payments to get tokens(its cheap) or just try some days;
Then, create api keys;

Setting in marimo

In marimo user config,
First, set open-ai key with the deep-seek api key;
Next, set AI-ASSIST base_url to https://api.deepseek.com;
Then, set model to deepseek-chat (just ignore any deepseek-coder case, v3 use chat for all)
