@planemad Currently, the road signage that are detected in the Navigation map are represented in small sized green colour dots. These are only visible beyond zoom level 14.

Problems:

  • The dots are too small to spot on green colour mapillary path background. After zoom level 14 we spend a lot more time in panning over the map in search of the ones which are not reviewed

Proposed changes:

  • A colour change in the signage detected dots and bigger size of the circle that represents it
  • Allowing them to be visible in higher zoom levels such as 10 or 12

@manoharuss increased size and color contrast.

The Mapillary signage vector tiles start at zoom 14, so nothing can be done on our end mapbox/mapping#177 (comment). Have requested for an extension.

@planemad What would be a decent level to support, we are not generating these tiles but giving you them through lookup. So further out becomes slower queries.

Next step for us would be to start generating static tiles.

@gyllen a minimum of 10 would work great to give a city level overview to know where to focus on. Also to note is that we're only interested in potentially missing turn restrictions, and not the whole range of signs that is currently detected.
