Details

googlechrome.vm fails to install due to a change in the msi installer. This issues has been already reported to Chromium: https://issues.chromium.org/issues/382108340 I am opening this issue here for visibility as this may be confusing for FLARE-VM/VM-Packages users.

We could fix the issue using a tagged MSI, such as https://dl.google.com/tag/s/appguid%3D%7B8A69D345-D564-463C-AFF1-A69D9E530F96%7D%26iid%3D%7B04890063-2FDC-8C69-AA75-7BE52EF733F1%7D%26lang%3Den%26browser%3D4%26usagestats%3D0%26appname%3DGoogle%2520Chrome%26needsadmin%3Dtrue%26ap%3Dx64-stable-statsdef_0%26brand%3DGCEA/dl/chrome/install/googlechromestandaloneenterprise64.msi

But I got confirmation that this will be fixed today. So I suggest we just wait a bit.

I can confirm the issue has been fixed and I can install googlechrome.vm locally.
