Summary

Ability to specify or change mailbox path per mailbox

Motivation

I've always found the ability to specify the mailbox path useful either per domain or per account.

The motivation is that as I add more domains to my setup it's not as easy to grow the existing disk. Therefore I attach new disks to the VM for accommodating new domains and mailboxes, but currently I have to manually change the mailbox path in MariaDB, which is not ideal.

Happy to try taking on the task.

Sounds like your setup would benefit by using LVM2 to expand your filesystems when needed?

Indeed since all data is stored in the volume anyway, it would be not benfical to move everything out.
I would suggest that you create a docker-compose override and use your own volumes
