Porting games from other engines (Unity et al)

Glad to see this project getting updates. :) Is there still plan to support things such as Unity, Ren'Py, Java, Flash, AIR, AGS or other games that can be hacked via replacing files? I originally started that discussion on original Luxtorpeda wiki.

For Unity games, is there an easy/safe way to download the Unity binaries like described in the wiki? Also, what are some examples of some games that you've managed to get working in that manner?

For the other types you're talking about, what sort of work would that entail and what games would be supported because of that?

For Unity games, I described the procedure back then in the page linked. It's a long read, but I tried to describe all the steps gathered from other sources. Was a while ago, but although something changed, the required files could be downloaded and extracted from official Unity servers.

As far as games being tested, I mostly assembled the list at GOL wiki from the available sources here: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/wiki/Unity_Games_Working_On_Linux_(User_Ported)#Games_tested some are dead now (e.g. GOGmix), but most should be alive. The most notable ones at the time were My Summer Car and Jalopy, though achievements might not work, but it's always case-by-case basis.

The other engines were mostly mentioned in old Luxtorpeda wiki: https://github.com/dreamer/luxtorpeda/wiki/Game-engines#list-of-candidates - Ren'Py should be the most straightforward to replace files, being open source, but I didn't do that personally. The rest (AIR, Flash, Java) could work by using Linux-native launcher sometimes. There should be ways to launch RPG Maker games too, but I didn't investigate it yet.

I'd be interesting to see work. Would you be interested in developing these packages to make this work?

Not sure if I can pull this off. it was a while since I experimented with it and I don't play any of those games at the moment plus I don't keep up with Luxtorpeda plus I might not have much time at my disposal, so no promises. If anyone want to push it forward it I will gladly help, though.
