Update: I just figured out how to get the GTK theming to work. The problem is that the instructions in the README are a little unclear and inaccurate but I figured it out. pywal.json needs to go into ~/.config/presets/user instead of ~/.var/app/com.github.GradienceTeam.Gradience/config/presets/user Also, create symlinks to the files in ~/.cache/wal instead of copying them. That way, whenever the palette is changed, they'll be updated automatically. |

With the switch to pywal16 happening, I was thinking it might be cool to integrate this tool which creates a Kvantum theme for Qt graphics. It allegedly can also theme GTK but I haven't figured out how. I was able to get my Kvantum theme to update on the fly by creating symlinks from ~/.cache/wal to ~/.config/Kvantum instead of copying them over, so whenever I run pywal the changes are applied immediately. I'm not sure if a similar approach could be used for GTK theming but integrated with kde-material-you-colors, this would mean virtually the entire system's color scheming and theming being updated on the fly with a simple wallpaper change.
