Password prompt after closing browser

Hello all, so I just set up Heimdall as a docker container and have several links set up. In user settings I created user with a password. There are instances that I get prompted for my password when clicking on various buttons that navigate the various menus. My question is this….what prompts this password request because it does not happen every time I open up Heimdall on my browser?
