[BUG] Subtitles are empty #67
Comments
this is caused due to incorrect volume configuration, you need to make sure they match with sonarr and radarr, i.e. if sonarr has this configuration:
You have to make sure it's exactly like that in Lingarr too, when you open a series in the UI the console within the container shows the path it has. Match it with that. What did you exactly had to do with the PGID and PUID? did you had to set them or? |
Same issue and both of the paths are exactly the same i have put the PGID and PUID 99,100 respectively originally it was set to 100,099 |
Alright, then it might be different because of a configure root folder within sonarr or radarr. Could you send me the error log once you open movies or a season within series. |
Apologies for the delayed response. Out of the 30 shows I have, only 3 or 4 come with available subtitles. However, when I try to translate these subtitles into another language, the process remains stuck in progress. Additionally, when I click on shows without subtitles, no logs are displayed. |
No problem, And those shows that do not have subtitles, if you look into the shows, are there any subtitles available? What kind of directory structure do they have, shows where no subtitles are found but available. You see "In Progress" and no progression of the progress bar? Could you also check your browsers console via F12 and see if you have any errors there? |
Yes, there are subtitles for all shows, and they all follow the same structure: /tv/show/(anime name). There are no errors, but I can't even stop the one currently in progress—it’s completely stuck. |
This seems like an exceptional situation that I haven't encountered before. Here are some examples that should work on Lingarr. Could you confirm you have similar setups?
Note the directory layout, filenames and ISO 639-1, 639-2, or 639-3 language codes. |
Yes, I have it set up the same as in Example 1. I’ve checked multiple shows with this setup, but the naming scheme is much longer due to added tags—if that matters Also, do you support embedded subtitles ? |
that can certainly be the case, could you share an example of such a name? Lingarr does not support embeded, you can extract them using Bazarr |
Same issue i have downloaded the embedded subtitles from bazarr but it wont appear i have double-checked the folder and the subtitles are there with correct naming scheme The name for example: |
This is a really tricky one, I will try and see if I can replicate the issue with your filename, it looks alright though. It will take some time as I am currently very busy. Thank you very much with providing all the details. |
I think I did find something, the filename was proper and working. However I noticed a situation where the series wasn't created properly in Lingarr. There is a checkmark within Sonarr called "Use Season Folder" that totally ignores the filesystem but affects the data that syncs with Lingarr. I've updated the :dev tag, could you have a look when you have time. Do you also still have a stuck process when translating? |
Describe the problem
I have installed Lingarr on Unraid, and everything seems fine, except that the subtitles for my TV shows are not showing. I can see the list of shows, but the subtitle section is completely empty. Additionally, I had to manually change the PGID and PUID for the container to work correctly.
