(intel) macOS 15.2 Beta (24C5089c)
QuickRecorder v1.5.3

i've been using QR for some time but, this is the first time i've tried enabling hdr (aka, i dont know if it worked before i installed a beta version of macos because i never tried).

hdr selected, 30 fps, high quality, .mov, h265 - the app doesn't seem to begin recording and a file saves, but it's empty.

my macbook pro is the 16" version from 2019 (amd 5500m) and, technically only supports apple's EDR (not full HDR) - could this be preventing me from recording with HDR?

Sorry, I don't support issues with beta versions of macOS.
But I can confirm that this feature works fine on the released version of macOS 15.

Hi, I'm no longer on macOS beta. On the public release of macOS 15.2 with the same issue.
