Receiving Homebrew stalls and never downloads #14

After I enter /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)", the command appears to work, and starts downloading, but then gets stuck anywhere from 33%-60% and never completes. I reset my terminal completely, and am still having the issue.

Any ideas?

I'm getting the same issue. on macOS 10.12.3
