How to use v4

I'm trying to compile the code samples, for example this one:
https://echo.labstack.com/middleware/prometheus

But it seems the documentation (https://echo.labstack.com/guide/installation) only refers to v3.

How can I compile the sample and use v4?

github.com/labstack/echo/v4 only works when using Go modules.

Remove the /v4 prefix or migrate to Go modules.
