@dprotaso, @houshengbo, I tried looking but I couldn’t place you in any OWNERS file. Membership guidelines state

Sponsored by 2 reviewers. Note the following requirements for sponsors:

Sponsors must have close interactions with the prospective member - e.g. code/design/proposal review, coordinating on issues, etc.
Sponsors must be reviewers or approvers in at least one OWNERS file within one of the [Kubernetes GitHub organizations](https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/github-management#actively-used-github-organizations)*.
Sponsors must be from multiple member companies to demonstrate integration across community.

If you could point me to some place, I can go ahead and process this, else @kahirokunn will have to find other sponsors.
Incidentally @Jont828 could serve as one too.

I apologize for the confusion. I had thought that being OWNERS in the Knative project (a CNCF project) would qualify, but I understand now that this isn't the case according to the membership guidelines. 🙏

@Jont828, would you be willing to sponsor my membership request? 🙇

Thank you for letting me know. I'm currently reaching out to potential sponsors for the second recommendation. I'll update here once I have confirmation. Please allow me some time to coordinate this.

+1 for this application, @kahirokunn is getting involved with MCS-API/sig-multicluster which I am also involved in and reached out via the kubernetes slack for his membership request.

FTR as I see there was some problem around that here, here is the owner file I am present in: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kubespray/blob/master/OWNERS_ALIASES#L14

@kahirokunn, thank you for all your contributions 🙂

I’ve created PR #5350 to add you to the Kubernetes Org(s). Once that gets merged, you should get a membership invite notification.

Welcome to @kubernetes! 🎉

P.S.
Thank you @Jont828 and @MrFreezeex for helping out
