Connection to ModbusPV and SmartMeter

Hi,

I'm trying to connect with one RaspPi to an Huawei Sun2000-xxx. The inverter is also connected to an SmartMeter with ModbusRTU. Do you know (or tried), if it is possible to have both connection established?
The ModbusTCP to your system and also the ModbusRTU to SmartMeter? Are there some specific configurations necessary?

Hi Peter, sorry for the late reply...

So I have also multiple connections on my SUN and had no problems yet, but I honestly don't know if it is a Modbus Connection, but I think so.

As I understood the configuration there is no limit in how many modbus connections can be open (and what technology) but I had some downtimes from time to time which I think comes because another modbus connection is reading.

So I have no definitive answer, but I see no problem having both connections.

Maybe you can tell me if it worked.
