Continuous/Free Scrolling

I know this issue has been requested before on #922 (closed)
and believe this was in progress ~2015.
I have branch 2.0 checked out, but don't see any additional props that might relate to continuous scroll, mentioned on #1665 (comment) or physics scrolling as per #922
Does branch 2.0 have anything that is useable at this time or if/when are we likely see something similar to Flickity free scrolling?
