Enable Video for monitor?

I'm setting up a virtual venue and dropping off ;'jam boxes' to performers - I would love to have them also be able to use the web browser and this means enabling the video output so it boots to desktop. I'm really new to these but learning fast - is there a way I can enable video output so it's not 'headless'?

You don't need to run it headless. It's been a while since I tested this, but I think it will work if you plug a monitor into the HDMI connector next to the USB-C connector, and reboot.
You might need to change hdmi_mode setting in /boot/config.txt:

You might want to also enable the overlay driver by uncommenting the dtoverlay= line here:

rebooted with HDMI in port 0 instead of 1 and was off to the races :) This is fantastic - booting directly into our private server and going from boot to conversation on the server in 45 seconds!!!

Next will be to see if it can support a pi-cam to send video at the same time... old logitech webcam was a little glitchy... But so so impressed with this - thank you!
