Automatic way to annotate text with the date it was written #20

I have two problems in mind:

  • When I create an experiment in the first place, I often forget to write down the date.
  • I often add notes to old experiments based on new experiences. I'd like if there was an easier way to distinguish such notes from the originals. I do have the .. update:: directive, but sometimes that's too bulky.
