These modules implement different ways to send messages between the manager and the renderer. As developers will be using channels with the new addon API it is important to keep it consistent.
The
@kadira/storybook-channelmodule wraps aTransportobject and gives an api similar to an event emitter. We can use this channels with react-native storybook and other implementations soon. We can later add some way to let users configure the channel itself.
