Describe the feature you'd like to request

Allow for rendering task lists. Currently the plugin is enabled, but it makes it over to html in the rendered view, not sure why this isn't picked up and transformed to mdast!

Describe the solution you'd like

Something similar to github's ui, ensuring that we have access to the line number so that jupyterlab-mystjs can make use of it.

The UI needs some sort of enabled/disabled and then a strategy for what to do when someone clicks an item!
