the unit test engine code is getting a few curves captured below. this is a start, but by no means suitable for any real world purpose as yet. several more itneresting ones can probably be crafted.

(sin(x)-cos ( (sqrt x)))+ (sqrt x)/2

(sin( tan( x)))+sqrt ( x)

(4+sqrt( (x)))+(sin(x) - cos(x )-cos(x2)-cos(x3)-cos(x*4) )
