I have used this package in ROS with an old Polaris (2003), it works very good with active tool but I had no luck in making it work with passive tools. Can anyone suggest something?
after checking the firmware I get the warning "device firmware is not what we are expecting got:22"

So, when I checked the illuminator rings were not on which means no port was assigned to passive tools. After checking the cisst log file found out i need to assign a unique id even to passive tools so i did and it worked. Happy holidays :).
