  • This report addresses only a single issue; If you encounter multiple issues, kindly create separate reports for each one.

Description of the bug

After upgrading to jellyfin 10.9.8 is not possible to turn pages back and forth by tapping the left/right area of the screen. Neither on the web app or in the android one.

By switching to desktop mode (Firefox on android) seems instead to work.

Reproduction steps

Jellyfin on Docker container. Pull the latest release and wait to get the match on "web version" and "compiled version" with the 10.9.8.

Press on any book on the library and get the same behaviour.

By reverting to the 10.9.7 on the web version the problem disappeared.

What is the current bug behavior?

Impossibile to change the page by tapping. Only by clicking the chapter it is working.

What is the expected correct behavior?

When I press the left and righ region of the screen should change the page. Could be convenient to add also two virtual button on the top bar in the case of malfunction.

10.9.8+

Looks like #5741 changes the behaviour of the reader to use swipe gestures instead of taps. Although these swipe gestures seem to not work at all on android on any browser I've tried. This PR #5843 should fix this issue.
