The BLEBas service can be used to display battery levels on a device.

Determining the battery voltage at 3.4V per cell at 0% and 4.2V at 100% would be a good indication.

Potential product which could be used to measure reference voltage from the battery. Expected use would be in between the flywheel motor shield and the step down converter from Pololu.
