danfo.readExcel sheet option not working

To read data from a specific sheet, I use dfd.readExcel(source, {sheet: "abc"}) as indicated in the documentation but it does not work.
here is my code
dfd.readExcel(selectedExcelFile, {sheetName: "2.reaction-molecules"}).then(df => {
console.log(df);
}).catch(error => {
console.error("Error reading Excel file:", error);

console prints data from the first sheet, while "2.reaction-molecules" is the second sheet
