Description

Issue with Displaying Overall Effect Size in Meta-Analysis Module

Purpose

Use-case

Is your feature request related to a problem?

I am encountering an issue in the JASP meta-analysis module where the overall effect size is not being calculated or displayed, despite correctly setting up my data and following all recommended procedures. I have used several versions of JASP (including the latest release) and tried all suggested troubleshooting steps, including enabling summary options, adjusting model types (fixed/random effects), and ensuring there are no missing values. However, only individual study effect sizes are displayed, and no summary effect size appears in the output.

Is your feature request related to a JASP module?

@liezelkorf
thx for the report. Can you give us this information?
grafik

And maybe even upload the .jasp file after renaming it to .zip and then drag and dropping it here?

Hi @Yohannes633, does this bug happen in the Bayesian meta-analysis or the frequentist meta-analysis?

@Yohannes633
would be cool if you could re-test this with the new meta-analysis from jasp 0.19.2 - thx!
