"Fetch metadata" from LubimyCzytac no longer finds magazines #3323
Comments
The root cause for that is probably a change in LC engine. Anyhow, maybe it would make sense for adding "LC magazines" as a different metadata provider? The call is to https://lubimyczytac.pl/searcher/getNextResults/czasopisma with a very simple payload: and the response looks like that:

Describe the bug/problem
Two things really.
Since very recently (ive been adding magazines this way a couple of months ago successfully) Calibre-web no longer finds magazines when searching by title in LubimyCzytac database.
Here's an example - this title cannot be found https://lubimyczytac.pl/ksiazka/5180503/psx-extreme-02-2025
Im not sure if thats due to a change in Calibre-Web, or LubimyCzytac.
But there's one more thing. Even while this was working, finding the correct issue of the magazine was very hard - usually I was presented with a long list of issues of particular title (default sorting) and i was lucky if i was able to find the correct one on the list.
I guess that implementing all the features incl sorting of LC is too much hassle and not really needed, but it would be lovely, if Calibre-Web would allow me to find the correct book/magazine issue/etc by providing LC book ID.
