For the most used colors (F1-F7) there are now dedicated buttons in the toolbar. By pressing shift when clicking the button, the related color can be customized. The colors toolbar is located at the right side of the screen by default.

The colors toolbar now has a number of so called "quick colors", which can be selected and used by the F1-F7 macros.
The default location for the toolbar is now to the right
