The input plugin for influxdb fails when using self signed certs. There should be options to supply ssl ca and cert info or to disable ssl checks, similar to the output plugin.

@4foot @sparrc Has there been any progress on this. I just hit it as well with the rabbitmq plugin.

I have solved my initial problem with #1503 but at some point I think this should be moved to agent as several plugins implement it already in various ways.
