Logging to stdout

Is there an option to log to stdout ?
If not how hard would it be to add one ?

I use daemontools to manage my daemons and I don't want applications managing the log files itself.

I attached a patch which seems to work for me, if you specify "stdout" as file it switch to a stdout logger.
There may be a better way to do it but I am not familiar enough with both the project and go to judge.
