Unboost if an edit removes group mention

Now that users on Mastodon and some other Fediverse software can edit posts, the situation arises where a post that a Guppe group got mentioned in has that mention removed by the author. (I just did this now when I realized that a reply of mine mentioned a group and I belatedly decided that it didn’t need to be shared to every follower of the group.)

My expectation was that now the group was no longer mentioned, the post should be unboosted by the group account, but I think instead what happens is that the post continues to be boosted, along with the edit that removed the mention.

Thanks for raising this. Could you DM me the link to your post at @datatitian@social.coop? I'd like to look in our database to see if Mastodon still delivers the edit to us after you've removed the group from the post
