wgs84CartographicFromSpatial - should we use it

I have created a sandbox here
iTwin.js (itwinjs.org)
If you look at the test widget it basically takes some converted spatial coordinates to see if they can be used
the code is in the TestWidget
However, when I to take a cartoGraphic coordinate converted using wgs84CatographicFromSpatial ... there is always an error
The requirement is to take a coordinate from an iModel and store this as lat long then use this to draw a simplified element based upon a status back into the viewer

To view the problen
Click on the TestWidget
Click ShowModels ... see that the calcCoordLow fails
