I will reply to myself: if you start something like ssh or rlogin to localhost basically you are able to get info about who is logged and utmp info. The ip address of course is not the original cause you start the ssh/rlogin session on localhost or on the ip address. |

While using a bash connections works wonderful it lacks the feature to give info about the connection on the os via standard tools.
For example if am using the command 'w' to show the users connected i don't see the hoop bash connection.
This would limits the detection of user's connection from other tools that leverage standard unix tools .
Is there some known workaround apart of using ssh connection type ?
