Gnome Papers application (flatpak) not showing its main window when launched from Gnome Shell if Dash to Panel extension is enabled

System information

• Ubuntu 24.10, Wayland, Intel graphics card (Nvidia card is fully disabled)
• Gnome Papers 47.0 flatpak downloaded from Flathub
• Dash to Panel version 64 installed from Gnome Extensions web page.

Summary

Gnome Papers is not shown when launched from Gnome Menu when the Dash to Panel extension is enabled but it's working well when launched from terminal with flatpak run org.gnome.Papers.

I can confirm that the problem persists if Dash to Panel is the only enabled extension, and no error is shown in the journalctl log with only Dash to Panel extension enabled and launching Gnome Papers.

Description

I've installed Gnome Papers from Flathub using Software application in Ubuntu. Just after the installation I tried to launch the application using Gnome's menu (Win+A, write 'Papers' and hit Enter) and it is never shown if the Dash to Panel extension is enabled. If I disable the Dash to Panel extension and launch que application from Gnome's menu it works as expected.

I only indicate the error with Gnome Papers but it's likely that it occurs with other flatpak applications.

If I show the flatpak processes about Papers there are always two of them:

The application is always running (it's never killed/finalized) but it never shows the UI to the user (the UI never appears).

If I try to launch the application from a console using both flatpak run org.gnome.Papers or /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=papers org.gnome.Papers it works without problem (UI is shown immediately).

I can't reproduce this on ubuntu 24.04, is it new on 24.10?
