Logging backup includes:

Elasticsearch database snapshot
Elasticsearch configuration /etc/elasticsearch/
Kibana configuration /etc/kibana/

Only single-node Elasticsearch backup is supported.

The NFS feature or some kind of similar shared storage solution is required for making backup / restore operation on multi node Elasticsearch clusters (this is strictly required). Not having good shared storage solution (that would work on-prem as well) is a blocker. :(
