The error thrown when throwOnError is set to true does not contain response code

I was just looking for this actually!

• In the error from the client (in my case I use react-query), I get the body which is great. But no response code.
• In the response interceptor I get the response with status code, but if I try to access the body things break because we can't read the body twice.

However @duveborg in the error interceptor, you get access to both the error (which can be the response body), and the response which contains the status code.

client.interceptors.error.use((error, response, options) => {
  console.log(error) // the response body
  console.log(response) // the Response with `ok`, `status`, `statusText`, etc.
  console.log(options) // the request options
});

If you can handle whatever logic you need to use both the body and status for here, that's where I would do it! Not useful if you need to use the status code in your client code, but if you're just reporting to Sentry or similar then this works for me.

edit: You can rethrow from this error interceptor to make sure the error bubbles up to the next handler (for example the react-query onError listener), and if you need the status there maybe you can enhance the error like return { ...error, statusCode: response.status }
