Perhaps someday. It has been a low-priority feature for me (see also comments in #129); the goal for this project is to focus more on "doing one thing and doing it well", specifically sequencer-related features (e.g. better support for in-place MIDI file editing or adding scripting). Your suggestion totally makes sense, and you're not the only one who has suggested it, so maybe the next major version will include basic support for audio tracks if I have the time (although time is a premium these days, so no promises). |

Hi.
Is it planned, or might it be implemented, to either (1) import an audio recording (say in WAV format) as a track in Helio, or even (2) record such audio from within Helio itself, apply effects etc. And export the mix of all tracks.
Option (2) would tun it into a full DAW rather than a MIDI sequencer; this may be outside the intended scope.
Perhaps (1) is more feasible? This would broaden Helio's usefulness to people who compose 'on top of' recorded audio.
