Helgobox constant high CPU load by the app

Describe the bug
Even without any playing, the CPU usage of helgobox stays around 140%, which seems odd. I'm occasionally experiencing audio issues that might be caused by performance degradation, which can be attributed to this behavior.

To Reproduce
Nothing special, just observe the CPU usage.

Expected behavior
It doesn't seem like helgobox should be doing something worth the CPU load it reports.

I was directly referring to the helgobox process, so yes, the app. The plugin, and the whole reaper process is fine.

It seems to be related to window size. I have 4k display with 1.7 scaling factor, and full-screen window causes 150% load. Downscaling to 1/3 of the screen size of the screen and hiding mixer faders can lead to CPU usage drop to ~30%. Disabling HiDPI doesn't seem to have that much effect, seems mainly related to the window of the screen to render + number of UI elements, with faders being more hungry that others.

My environment is Linux + Wayland.
