Merge #189: cmake: Report more compiler details.

5a68532 fixup! cmake: Add root `CMakeLists.txt` file (Hennadii Stepanov)

Pull request description:

  Report more compiler details. Useful when compiler is being detected with its general symlink like `/usr/bin/cc` or `/usr/bin/c++`.

  Pulled from #93.
