What is the problem you are trying to solve with this feature?

It would be great if we could add food items inside boxes.
A concrete example is, I have in my basement multiple boxed with food that I'd like to add in the application and quickly see when the expiration date is.

What is the solution you are proposing?

There is a warranty section for items, maybe add something similar for food?

What alternatives have you considered?

I could use the warranty section for expiration date but having a way to see the expiration from the list view would be great, maybe even visually be altered if some items are soon to be expired or expired.

I've seen your comment on reddit that you do not intend to implement food taking since there are better options for this.
