Cannot upload as a WP plugin

I've downloaded the ZIP and uploaded it to WP using the plugin installer but it won't work.. what can be done?

Chosen isn't a Wordpress plugin, it's a jQuery or Prototype plugin. You'll likely need to include the code in your theme directory in order to use it in your pages.
