Script stopped working consistently after nhentai introduced webp

AFAIK at least, the script doesn't work anymore because of the webp introduction a while back, it worked from time to time but now it doesn't even show me the settings anymore, it just stays stuck on "Reading" with the book animation.

Update would be appreciated if no fix on my end is possible, since the reader is easy to use and I like the pre-load function very much.
