I mostly use OpenWebRX on a Mac with Firefox. Looking around it seems that my Firefox there might be behind the times somewhat. OpenWebRX sites work very well on my MacBook Pro.
On my Win10 machine that I use for my ham shack computer I have Firefox Quantum version 66.0.3 and OpenWebRX sites will not work. Google Chrome, newest version, works fine.
I presume this will not be easy to fix since Firefox has apparently dropped support for Java.
You might want to update your documentation.

Could you tell us more on what do you experience in detail?
Does the waterfall show up?
If it does, with or without audio?
Do you get an error message on the site or in the console?
I have just tested on Firefox 66.0.3 on Linux x64 and I didn't experience any major problems. I've seen a black frame over the sliders though, but that's only a visual issue:
I will test on Windows too.

That should be no problem. OpenWebRX is not using Java (neither now, nor in any previous versions).
I think you can call this fixed. I think it's an issue with that box.
I do have another question...
I got openwebrx running on a Raspberry Pi 3+ with my SDRPlay RSP2 using the
SoapySDR setup. I freely admit I am a complete noob so if this is obvious I
apologize.
The little control widget doesn't do very much. I can't seem to even change
the center frequency. If I set the center frequency to something known, in
this case my local NOAA weather radio station everything works fine.
If that requires more coding I might be able to help with that as long as
time isn't an issue. I just want to know if I'm missing something.
Thank you. It's a cool program. I have a blast using other sites so I
wanted to set my own up.

Yes, in the current version you cannot change the center frequency of the receiver hardware. See ShinySDR for a similar project that allows you to do it.
