Thank you for picking up this project. I have wanted a proactive firewall like this on Linux for quite a while and am happy to have this. I'm curious to know if there are any plans to add managing rules as a feature in the UI. I don't personally see it as a major imposition to manage the JSON files but I can imagine many users might. It seems like something you have probably already thought of but I didn't want to assume. Thanks again for you effort. I appreciate it!

Yes, it's in the TODO list :) But it's a bit tricky, so it is going to take me some time to add it.

I've added the option to configure daemon and UI from the UI. This opens the door to configure also the rules from the UI.

I'll work on it in the coming weeks.

It's quite flexible, allowing you to use regexp to match connections details.

One option that's not implemented yet is macthing against environment variables of a process. But as I want to add an option to filter by CWD, I guess I'll add it as well.

Excellent! I'm looking forward to this. Let me know if you'd like me to test it out. Thanks again.

Yes please!, I've tested it but I'm sure that will be there bugs.

I close this issue, so open a new one if you find any bug with the rules. I'll release a new version in a few days.
