Deprecated features

This section contains deprecated features and interfaces that the chart exposes. The deprecation policy of the chart is to remove a deprecated item from the third major release after it has been deprecated it.

List

  • GEM gateway: remove port 8080 on the Service resource. Deprecated in 3.1.0 and will be removed in 6.0.0.
    • How to migrate: replace usages of port 8080 with port 80; these usages can be in dashboards, Prometheus remote-write configurations, or automation for updating rules.
  • NGINX configuration via nginx top-level values sections is being merged with by the gateway section. The nginx section is deprecated in 4.0.0 and will be removed in 7.0.0.

This changelog is continued from enterprise-metrics after Grafana Enterprise Metrics was added to mimir-distributed in PR #1203. All notable changes to this chart will be documented in this file.
