Can the series index increase the recognition of Chinese simplified and traditional characters? Otherwise, most of them will go to # navigation.

I am not familiar with how chinese character index usually work. Compared to Japanese which has a defined set of hiragana for instance.

Can you maybe provide details on how that works for Chinese ?

Note that the client settings is already in place to support that, so you can test that yourself if you are familiar with API calls.

• values are all the characters to be filtered by when this group is selected.

Chinese indexes are usually based on the first letter of the pinyin of the first Chinese character.

As for sorting, it is also done using pinyin letters.

in that case you just need to change the title sort of your series to use pinyin and it will work with the default alphabetical configuration
