Ctrl + Mouse wheel scrolls vertically in the 2D editor, while using the mouse wheel alone zooms. Such an editor setting would probably swap the two behaviors together to match GIMP and web browsers. PS: I noticed Shift + Mouse wheel does nothing. We should probably make it scroll horizontally regardless of this setting to match web browsers. |

There are quite a few ways to change the zoom level in the 2D Inspector that I am aware of:
The zoom-in and zoom-out buttons on the scene preview -
The mouse wheel -
Keyboard shortcuts -
I'd like to propose that we have another option as well, which has been implemented in something like GIMP:
Which is to allow Ctrl + Clicking and Dragging the Mouse Wheel Up / Down (not scrolling) to change 2D zoom level
And I believe Godot also already has this feature, but only for the 3D Inspector and I suppose the bottom line is I'd also love for this feature to be ported to the 2D Inspector:
