Umbrel on Proxmox: Apps Not Loading, Unable to Check for Updates

Hello, just installed 1.2.1 on a proxmox VM. Install went fine, was able to create a password and get to the home page. When it loads, none of the apps besides the dock apps, load its pictures, please see image below. I checked for updates and get a 'failed to check for updates' error, same for when I open the app store, 'something went wrong'. Not entirely sure what to check for so hoping I can get some help.

The log file that you attached is not available. You could check you network at the development tools from your browser, the logs from any failed requests may be useful. You also can open the terminal on the advanced settings and check if you can ping google.com, just to ensure that you proxmox instance have access to the internet.
